Meet Robert J Taylor

Senior Partner

Robert J Taylor, BSc. LLB, MBA is managing partner of Taylor Law. With an educational background in both law and business Robert’s early professional career in corporate banking and finance provides him with a unique perspective on legal matters. Robert has proven competence in law and family wealth management.
Assuming responsibility for a portfolio of wealth assets and going concern entities for select entrepreneurial families and corporate subsidiaries. Robert relies heavily on his experience as a former Citibanker where he structured and approved large commercial transactions. Robert has lead the acquisition of substantial real estate assets which include multi-unit complexes and large real estate development projects and going concern commercial entities, both locally and overseas. These types of transactions, have become a staple of Robert’s core accomplishments as well as advising and structuring wealth management platforms for tax and succession planning implicit in many of these types of structures.
Robert is passionate about his vision for Taylor Law and has pushed his personal and professional limits through innovating the way clients experience the practice of law.

Meet Sandie Heron


Sandie is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI)with a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English. She is also a trained Paralegal, with over 5 years’ experience in Real Estate & Conveyancing. Sandie has developed a keen interest in the legal profession of the years and is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Law at UWI.

Meet Annikee Black


Annikee is a Paralegal, with over 15 years’ experience in Real Estate & Conveyancing. She has worked in both the Public and Private Sectors for Notable Agencies and Companies, such as the National Land Agency and New Era Homes 2000 Ltd. Annikeeis currently on assignment with West Indies Home Contractors Ltd.

Meet Yackeisha Scott


Yackeisha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations from the University of the West Indies. She then obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and completed her studies at the Norman Manley Law School. Yackeisha was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in 2014.
Prior to joining Taylor Law in July 2016, Yackeisha practiced in Civil Litigation. Her legal experience is complemented with 5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing. During her LLB studies, Yackeisha was work with Kimberly-Clark Puerto Rico Inc. (Jamaica Branch), which significantly influenced her passion for the areas of Corporate and Commercial Law.

Wealth Management Beginnings

A very rewarding component of Robert’s early career was his foray into wealth management where established a Family Office which allowed him to leverage both his finance and legal background to managed the portfolio of liquid and going concern assets for select entrepreneurial families and their corporate subsidiaries. Using his corporate banking experience of structuring and approving large commercial banking transactions Robert developed a very personalized approach to the practice of law.

Real Estate Portfolio

In tandem with Wealth Management, Robert has lead the acquisition of substantial real estate assets both locally and overseas. These include multiunit complexes, large real estate development projects and commercial entities with going concerns. As the firm has developed, Taylorlaw has invested in the training and development of an Attorney and Paralegal team that is qualified to deliver its services.

Private Client Services

Private Client services was developed to leverage Robert’s experience in wealth assets management. Wealth has its benefits, but it can be a double-edge sword if not prudently managed. Many families and persons that have achieved their goal of wealth creation find it difficult to get support needed to carefully plan for wealth retention and manage the responsibility that comes with this acquired disposition. At Taylor Law we work with our clients to provide the most efficient structure for asset protection, preservation and transfer as well as business and personal succession planning .
